New Features

(New) Advanced Rate Management Module

Logitude is proud to launch the new Rate Module; a major leap forward from our previous tariff solution. This module enables you to manage all costs across every shipment type with unprecedented flexibility.

  • Complete Cost Management: You can now manage all your costs Contracts across all shipment types from one centralized place.
  • Flexibility: Add parameters such as Customer, Via, and more, with support for managing step breaks across Freight, Surcharges, Origin, and Destination charges.
  • Excel Uploads: Save time by uploading prices directly from an Excel file, eliminating the need for manual entry.

This module is designed to make quoting and cost management faster, more accurate, and flexible enough to fit your specific business operations.

Loading Meter (LDM) for Inland Shipments

Recognizing that volume applies to stackable goods while floor space determines capacity for non-stackable freight, packages can now be calculated by LDM (Loading Meter) in LTL Quotes and Shipments; enabling more accurate pricing. LDM values are also available for printing on the Arrival Notice, Manifest, Invoice documents, and the quote template.

The Power of Personalization of Working Lists

Advanced Views Filtering

Custom Views offer enhanced filtering options for greater flexibility when managing your data. If you want to define personalized Views for your team for a specific flow, you can use the new features in the “New View” creation (you can also update already created views).

  • Fixed & Dynamic Filters: Apply Fixed Filters with predefined values that are not editable by the user when using the views or Dynamic Filters to allow user to introduce the filter values
  • Visibility Control: Use the new “Show Dynamic / Fixed Filters” option to display both filter types, improving operational control and performance

Configurable Default Tab per View (Enterprise Plan Only)

A new functionality was added in the Create/Edit of customised Views. Enterprise customers can now configure a view to automatically open a specific tab when selecting a record. For example, a Shipment view can be set to open directly on the Receivable tab instead of the default screen. This reduces navigation steps and improves efficiency when reviewing related information.

Enhanced Multi-Keyword Search Across All Card Records

Card records can now be searched using up to three keywords simultaneously, including Customer, Shipper, Consignee, and other partner types. For example, searching “GlobalTrans Hamburg DE” will quickly find the customer GlobalTrans Logistics in Hamburg, Germany, this will work seamlessly in multiple fields such as Name, City, Country, VAT Number, Accounting Cards, ICAO, or Contact details. This enhancement speeds up searches, improves data accessibility, and helps teams manage operations more efficiently.

Document AI

Increased Precision and Control for Automated Document Processing.

The Document AI engine has been upgraded to more accurately match incoming vendor invoices to their corresponding existing shipments.

  • Smarter Shipment Matching: Shipment matching in Document AI is now more precise with the introduction of two new fields: Container Numbers and Additional Reference. These manual fields allow users to enter values that refine the shipment search, returning more accurate results and making it easier to connect an invoice to the correct shipment.
  • Distinguish Document AI AP Invoices: AP Invoices created through Document AI are now marked with a dedicated indicator, making them easy to distinguish from manually created invoices.
  • Prevent Disconnecting Invoice lines: Invoice lines created through Document AI are now locked. The check/uncheck option is disabled to preserve the integrity of the extracted data.
  • Disconnect Auto-Matched Payable: A dedicated action now allows users to disconnect an auto-matched payable charge from invoice lines created from Document AI, offering flexibility without compromising the automated matching process.
  • Cancel Document AI: Users can now cancel a Document AI record, providing better visibility and control over documents for more accurate tracking and efficient management.

Workflows

Achieving Efficiency In Freight Forwarding

  • Workflows Templates: Getting started with Workflows is now easier than ever, thanks to a library of pre-built templates available directly in the workflow workspace. These templates give users a practical starting point to explore and hit the ground running. These templates can be easily copied and customized to fit your specific needs.
  • Interactive Screen: Workflows can be used to display interactive, customized screens, supporting number and checkbox input elements.
  • REST API Enhancements: Workflow REST API actions now support the GET and PUT HTTP methods, enabling more robust integrations with external systems.

Enterprise Plan Features:

  • Custom Objects support in Interactive & UI Workflows: Workflows now support custom objects as triggering records in both Interactive and UI-Triggered Workflows. Custom objects are user-defined entities created through the Customization module to store and manage business-specific data. With this enhancement, users can trigger workflows directly from these records; enabling automation tailored to their unique business processes.
  • Create Docs-In on Custom Entities: The Create Docs In Workflow action now supports creating documents on Custom Entities that have the Docs In tab enabled. This allows users to automatically attach documents directly to custom objects as part of the workflow process.
  • Send Email Action Enhancements
    • Support Collection of Documents: The Send Email workflow action now supports sending multiple documents, allowing users to select a collection of attachments in a single action.
    • Support Email Templates: The Workflow Send Email action now supports Email Templates, allowing users to leverage predefined templates while attaching and sending documents directly from workflows, ensuring consistency across Automation features.

Audit Improvements

Clearer Tracking of Shipment Life Cycles.

Shipment Audit now provides more granular tracking of child entity changes, with richer audit log entries for Payables, Receivables, Packages, and Documents. For example, the system captures specific actions such as “Arrival Notice document was printed” giving users a complete, transparent history of all shipment-related modifications and activities.

Bulk Update Improvements

Improves Efficiency and Data Consistency

You can now perform bulk updates on selected fields across multiple Shipments/Quotes simultaneously. This enhancement applies advanced multi-update logic to the Shipment/Quote entity, allowing you to modify predefined fields for several records in a single action, including: Update Handler, Move Between Departments, Replace Salesman, Operation Closure, and more. By eliminating individual record editing, this significantly reduces manual work while improving efficiency and data consistency across your quoting and shipments processes.

Enhanced Container Tracking Updates

The Container Tracking module now automates Ocean tracing tasks without any manual intervention, with users only stepping in when exceptions arise.

Container statuses are now automatically updated using AIS (Automatic Identification System) data when carrier updates are unavailable (per carrier definition). By leveraging real-time vessel signals, Logitude ensures up-to-date milestones and continuous visibility until official carrier information is received.

Additionally, a new carrier has been connected to the tracking module: SMLU – Seaboard Marine.

Shipment Performance Improvements

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve Logitude, we’ve enhanced the performance of Master Shipments. Changes are now saved significantly faster. This optimization reduces wait times during data entry, making your workflow more efficient and responsive when managing complex shipments.

User Access & Licensing

You can now manage users who are not allowed to log in, while still being able to create or update their records and assign them as user types — such as salesmen — without granting login access. This keeps your employees’ access unchanged by specifying who is licensed and who is not.

Invoice Sent Status

AR Invoices now indicate when an invoice has been emailed to a customer, making it easy to track which invoices have been delivered.

Contact Report with Partner/Groups

A new report now provides full visibility into your contacts, displaying each contact alongside their associated company and assigned group (role). This update gives you a clearer overview of your business relationships.

Dashboards & Analytics

  • Task Analytics: Task Analytics now supports entity (e.g., Shipment, Quote), allowing users to group and filter tasks by their related entities.
  • Custom Fields: supports AR, AP, and Customer extension custom fields in dashboards.

Tasks Enhancements

Better Visibility and Tracking for Your Daily Operations.

We’ve introduced several updates to the Tasks module to help you stay organized and manage your workload more effectively:

  • Task Creator Visibility: The Related Task Edit screen now views Created By information, giving users clear visibility into the task’s creator.
  • Task Summary Fields: Shipment and Quote entities now include a Number of Open Tasks summary field, available in views, columns, and filters. This allows users to quickly identify records that require immediate attention.
  • Expanded Data Insights: Task views and dashboards now include Main Carriage ETA and Main Carriage ATA shipment fields, improving shipment monitoring and visibility.

Operational Accounting

Organizing Your Accounting Data

Logitude Operational Accounting offers an exceptional solution tailored for freight forwarders to streamline and optimize your accounting processes.

  • Invoice Date Column in AP Payments Grid: The invoice grid within AP Payments now displays the AP Invoice Date for each associated invoice, providing clearer visibility into payment priorities.
  • Increased Character Limit for Bank Name Field: The Bank Name field now supports up to 100 characters. This ensures compatibility with integrated accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and other interfaces.
  • Consolidation Invoice Number in AR Invoice Views: AR Invoice views now display the Consolidation Invoice Number, making it easy to identify and reference consolidated invoices directly from the list.

  • Newly Added Airlines: New airlines can now be added to the general library via: Maintenance>Airlines>Add the new available airlines. And now you can register for e-AWB with these airlines:
