New Features

Rates Management Module

One Place to Manage All Rates

Smarter pricing from Quote and Shipment creation through invoicing, payables, and receivables.

Freight forwarders often manage carrier, agent, and customer rates across spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected processes. Because rates change frequently, maintaining accurate pricing can become time-consuming and may result in inconsistencies, pricing errors, slower quotation turnaround, and difficulties validating supplier invoices.

The new Rates Management module centralizes buying and selling rates in one workspace and makes them available throughout the Quote and Shipment lifecycle.

What makes it powerful:

  • Maintain carrier buying rates for Air, Ocean, and Inland freight.
  • Maintain agent rates for origin and destination services.
  • Define general or customer-specific selling rates.
  • Prepare Quotes and Shipments based on the stored and qualified rates.
  • Manage expected costs, revenues, and expected profitability.
  • AP automation: Automatically compare vendor and agent invoice amounts with the agreed buying rates.

The impact: Users can price faster, apply rates more consistently, improve margin control, and identify supplier invoice discrepancies without relying on external files.

Advanced Charge Calculators

Handle Complex Pricing Scenarios More Easily

Freight charges are rarely limited to a fixed amount or a simple rate per kilogram. Pricing agreements may include minimum charges, weight breaks, cargo-value percentages, zone-based rates, and combinations of fixed and variable amounts.

Advanced Charge Calculators allow users to define pricing methods that reflect real operational agreements and apply them consistently across Rates, Quotes, and Shipments.

What makes it powerful:

  • Combine fixed amounts with per-unit calculations.
  • Apply consistent calculation rules across operational records.
  • Display the calculation method in customer-facing documents when required.

The impact: Complex rates can be calculated consistently, reducing manual work, limiting calculation errors, and helping customers understand how charges were determined.

Integrated Inbox – Conversations Module

Transform Emails into Connected Business Interactions

No more switching between Outlook and Logitude to read messages, download attachments, update records, and manage follow-ups.

The Conversations module brings emails, attachments, and operational records together in one connected workspace.

What makes it powerful:

  • Connect Office 365 email conversations to Logitude.
  • Link conversations and attachments to Shipments, Quotes, and Opportunities.
  • Reply, forward, classify, and manage messages directly from Logitude.
  • Maintain conversation ownership, flags, and priorities.
  • Synchronize message read status.
  • Use AI-assisted sentiment analysis and shipment suggestions while keeping users in control.

The impact: Teams can respond faster, retain a complete communication history, reduce manual system switching, and maintain better visibility over message ownership and follow-up activities.

AI Agents – Available in the Conversations Module

Focused AI Assistants for Freight Operations

Operational teams spend a significant amount of time reviewing emails, searching through message threads, handling attachments, replying to customers and partners, and manually transferring information into operational records.

Logitude AI Agents are designed to support specific freight-forwarding processes from within the Conversations module.

Each Agent reviews the relevant conversation and presents a recommended action for the user to validate. The user remains in control. No change is applied automatically without confirmation.

What makes it powerful:

  • Present recommended actions linked to the source conversation.
  • Extract booking confirmation and tracking information for shipment updates.
  • Prepare suggested record changes without applying them automatically.
  • Help users identify important updates and follow-up actions.
  • Support additional freight processes as new specialized Agents become available.

Coming soon:

  • Cost Charge Extraction Agent: Extract cost information from conversations and prepare suggested updates for Quote charges.

The impact: Teams can spend less time reviewing and re-entering information, respond more quickly to customers and partners, and reduce the risk of missing operational updates. Every proposed change remains subject to user review and confirmation.

AI Email Editor

Create Professional, On-Brand Emails in Minutes

Teams regularly send shipment updates, quotation follow-ups, payment reminders, document requests, and other customer communications directly from Logitude.

The new AI Email Editor makes it easier to create structured, professional, and branded messages without requiring advanced design skills.

What makes it powerful:

  • Build messages using ready-made content blocks.
  • Add tables, fields, text elements, and structured sections.
  • Use AI assistance to improve layout and visual presentation.
  • Convert existing messages to the new editor with one click.
  • Create consistent templates for recurring communications.

The impact: Administrators can prepare professional and branded email templates faster, allowing teams to communicate directly from Logitude while maintaining a consistent company identity.

Availability and setup: Available exclusively for Enterprise packages.

Document AI

Turn Incoming Information into Operational Data

Freight forwarding teams handle large volumes of emails and documents that require manual review, validation, and system entry.

Unlike third-party Document AI solutions that require separate integration, field mapping, and ongoing maintenance, Logitude Document AI brings AI-powered document understanding directly into your freight-forwarding workflow. Documents are analyzed in their operational context, relevant business information is identified and structured into the appropriate Logitude fields, and the related Shipment, Quote, or Invoice is prepared for user review. By turning incoming documents into structured operational data from the start, Logitude helps reduce repeated data handling and allows information to move more efficiently across operational and financial processes — all within the same system.

Enhanced AP Invoice Document AI

More Precision. Better Vendor Matching.

Vendor names may appear differently across supplier invoices because of abbreviations, spelling variations, or different legal names. These differences can result in incorrect vendor matches and make documents more difficult to identify and review.

AP Invoice Document AI now provides smarter vendor matching and improved vendor visibility.

What is new:

  • Improved matching when vendor names appear in different formats.
  • Users can search and filter supplier documents by partner.
  • The selected vendor remains subject to user review.

The impact: Accounting teams can reduce vendor mismatches, locate supplier documents faster, and maintain cleaner, more consistent partner data.

Availability and setup: Activation is required. Contact support@logitudeworld.com.

Document AI for Bills of Lading

Turn a Bill of Lading into an Ocean Shipment

Creating or updating an Ocean shipment from a Bill of Lading often requires users to review the document line by line and manually enter parties, routing, dates, booking references, container details, packages, and cargo information.

Document AI now extracts this information and prepares it for shipment creation or update.

What makes it powerful:

  • Process a Bill of Lading directly from a conversation.
  • Send the document to a predefined email address.
  • Upload the document manually.
  • Extract shipment information according to freight-specific rules.
  • Create a new shipment from the extracted data.
  • Update an existing shipment after comparing the extracted information with the current shipment data.
  • Review parties, ports, dates, booking information, containers, packages, and cargo details before applying changes.
  • Support Direct, House, and Master shipments.
  • Support both FCL and LCL operations.
  • Automatically upload the original Bill of Lading to the shipment Docs In.

The impact: Teams can create or update Ocean shipments faster, reduce repetitive data entry, improve container and package accuracy, and lower the risk of transcription errors. This capability is particularly effective for updating container details, packages, inner packages, routing information, and booking references.

Availability and setup: Available free for three months as part of this release.

Document AI for Air Waybills

Turn an Air Waybill into an Air Shipment

Air shipments often move quickly and depend on accurate routing, flight, and cargo information. Manually reviewing and entering information from Air Waybills can delay operations and increase the risk of incorrect or missing data.

Document AI now reads incoming Air Waybills and prepares the extracted information for the creation or update of an Air shipment.

What makes it powerful:

  • Process an Air Waybill directly from a conversation.
  • Extract data using Air freight-specific processing rules.
  • Create a new Air shipment from the extracted information.
  • Support Direct, House, and Master Air shipments.
  • Automatically upload the Air Waybill to the shipment’s Docs In.

The impact: Teams can create and update Air shipments faster, reduce repetitive data entry, and lower the risk of transcription errors. This is particularly useful when flight schedules, routing information, or cargo details change and must be reflected quickly in the shipment record.

Availability and setup: Available free for three months as part of this release.

Document AI for Shipment Emails and Documents

Create a Shipment from Almost Any Shipment-Related Email

Freight-forwarding teams often begin working on a shipment before receiving the final Bill of Lading or Air Waybill.

The first information may arrive through a routing order from an agent, a booking request from a customer, a message received from an external platform, a confirmation email, or a general email thread with shipment-related documents.

Users would normally need to review the email and attachments, manually create the shipment, and upload the related documents separately.

Document AI now provides a general shipment-creation model within the Conversations module.

What makes it powerful:

  • Use the full email conversation, attached documents, and additional internal information.
  • Match extracted information with Logitude codes — no interface to an external solution needed.
  • Allow users to review the extracted information before creating the shipment.
  • Save attached documents in the newly created shipment.
  • Link the original conversation to the newly created shipment.
  • Keep future booking updates, tracking messages, and follow-ups connected to the same shipment.

The impact: Teams can create shipments from the initial information received without waiting for the final transport document. This reduces manual work, improves data accuracy, accelerates the transition from shipment request to execution, and provides earlier shipment visibility for both internal teams and customers.

Document AI for Quote Creation

Turn a Customer Email into a Ready-to-Review Quote

Quote requests arrive in many different formats. Customers may describe their requirements directly in an email, attach supporting documents, or provide information across multiple messages.

Users then need to review the request, identify the relevant details, and enter them manually into a new Quote.

Available through the Conversations module, Document AI can now review an incoming email thread and its attachments and prepare a new Quote in Logitude.

What makes it powerful:

  • Read the full conversation, attached documents, and internal information.
  • Create the Quote after user confirmation.
  • Automatically link the new Quote to the original conversation.
  • Keep future replies and conversations connected to the Quote.

The impact: Sales and Pricing teams can respond to quotation requests faster and reduce repetitive data entry. The original customer request and the resulting Quote remain connected, giving users clearer communication history and better context throughout the quotation process.

Enhanced Features

Container Tracking – Automatic Transshipment Updates

Keep Shipment Routing Aligned with Carrier Updates

Transshipment details frequently change after a shipment has been created. Carriers may revise vessel schedules, change connecting vessels, update routing, or modify transshipment dates while the cargo is in transit.

Operations teams must then review the latest tracking information and manually update the shipment itinerary.

Logitude can now use the latest carrier events received through the Container Tracking module to create or update transshipment legs in the container record, synchronized with the related Shipment or Master.

What is new:

  • The Container Tracking module receives updated routing and vessel events from the carrier.
  • Logitude creates or updates the relevant transshipment legs in the container.
  • Shipment itinerary and transshipment dates are updated automatically.
  • Integrated with Exceptions management.
  • Online visibility for your customers and agents through the Digital Portal, automatic reports, or push messages.

The impact: Operations teams can reduce manual routing updates, maintain more accurate shipment records, and keep container and shipment information aligned. This helps users respond more quickly to routing or schedule changes and provide customers with more reliable shipment updates.

Workflow Improvements

Automate More. Control More. Deliver Faster – With or Without AI.

Automated workflows help freight-forwarding teams reduce repetitive activities such as processing incoming emails, creating documents, updating records, and supporting quotation processes.

This release adds new Workflow Templates and triggers to the Workflows Library, making workflows easier to create and more relevant to daily operations.

“Manage POD” – Workflow Template

Proof of Delivery documents are often received by email and must be manually downloaded, identified, and attached to the correct shipment.

A ready-to-use Manage POD – Proof of Delivery workflow template is now available in the Workflow workspace. Users can copy the template, adjust the email conditions and document settings, and activate it without building the workflow from scratch.

For additional setup guidance, users can watch the new External Event Workflow – Email video tutorial.

Quote Charges and Packages – Workflow Triggers

Quotation-related automations may depend on changes made to charge lines or package details, rather than changes to the main Quote record. Workflows can now be triggered when:

  • A Quote Charge is created or updated.
  • A Quote Package is created or updated.
  • The main Quote record is created or updated.

The impact: Sales and Pricing teams can automate approvals, notifications, pricing reviews, and follow-ups based on detailed charge or cargo changes. Ready-to-use templates reduce implementation time, while expanded workflow triggers provide greater control over operational automation.

Availability and setup: Available exclusively with the Workflows Add-on.

Dashboards & Analytics

More Data for More Complete Reporting

Reporting teams need operational, financial, and partner-related information to build complete dashboards and accurately evaluate performance.

This release expands the available analytics datasets with additional fields.

The impact: Teams can build more complete reports, analyze operational and financial performance more accurately, and better understand whether information was created manually or generated automatically by the system.

Tasks – Improved Task Customization

Give Teams Direct Access to the Information They Need

Managing a task often requires access to related shipment, quotation, and operational information.

Teams may also require custom fields to support their own business processes and ensure each task contains the information needed for follow-up.

What is new:

  • Customize the Task General screen.
  • Review complete Task Activity Logs and track changes made to task fields.
  • Access a task through a hyperlink on the related entity.

The impact: Teams gain greater flexibility, clearer task visibility, and a more tailored way to manage operational follow-up. Users can access the complete task from the related record and configure the task layout to better reflect their own operational process.

Availability and setup: Available for Professional packages.

Activity Logs – Identify System-Generated Changes

Full Visibility Across Manual and Automated Updates

The Activity Log provides a comprehensive audit trail of changes and activities performed within Logitude.

Users can review updates made to Shipments, Quotes, Tasks, Documents, and other records, including field changes, status updates, communications, and system-generated events.

What is new:

  • Identify changes made automatically by the system: Filter the Audit screen by System User to separate system-generated changes from updates made manually by employees.
  • Review all search results in one tab: Search results are presented together, providing a clearer view of related activity.
  • Trace field changes over time: Search for a field name and review every update recorded for that field across the shipment timeline.

The impact: Teams can investigate changes faster, understand how a record was updated, and improve traceability across both automated and manual activities.

Operational Accounting

Bank Deposit and VAT Payables Reports – More Flexible Date Filtering

Accounting teams may need to review Bank Deposit and VAT Payables reports using different accounting dates.

Depending on the reconciliation or reporting process, the relevant date may be the date on which the transaction was registered or the date on which its value became effective.

The Bank Deposit and VAT Payables reports now allow users to choose between Register Date and Value Date.

The impact: Accounting teams can prepare more accurate reports, align financial analysis with the appropriate accounting period, and perform reconciliations using the date that best matches their accounting process.

Quote Charges

Improved Control of Receivable and Payable Charges

Strengthen control over receivable and payable charges while maintaining accurate and consistent margins across every quote.

The impact: Teams can maintain stronger control over buying and selling charges, reduce unintended pricing changes, and preserve the intended selling price. Users also receive clearer guidance regarding why specific charge values can or cannot be edited.

Contact Report – Partners and Contact Groups

Manage Contacts Across Multiple Companies and Responsibilities

Freight-forwarding teams often work with several contacts within the same customer, agent, or partner organization.

Each person may be responsible for a different area, such as Finance, Air Import Operations, Customer Service, Tracking and Tracing, Documentation, or Sales.

The enhanced Contact Report provides a consolidated view of contacts across customers, agents, and other partners.

What makes it powerful:

  • View contact details and company information.
  • Export focused contact lists for specific teams or responsibilities.

The impact: Teams can identify the correct contact faster, organize contacts according to their responsibilities, and create focused lists for operational and commercial communication.

New Help and Training Resources

New guides and video tutorials have been added to the Logitude Help Center. These resources provide step-by-step instructions, practical examples, and feature-specific guidance to help users work more efficiently and resolve issues faster.

New Guides

  • Reports Scheduler: Learn how to schedule reports for automatic delivery by email, ensuring recurring reports reach the correct recipients without repeating the same manual process.
  • Conversations Module – Personal Inbox: Learn how to connect an Office 365 inbox to Logitude and manage conversations, documents, and linked operational records from one workspace.
