New Features

Quotes Multiple Options

Faster Customer Engagement

You can now send multiple quote options to your customers, giving them the flexibility to choose what best meets their needs and budget. This feature allows you to prepare various options based not only on freight costs but also on additional services such as insurance, freighter, non-stackable items, and more. It enables customers to compare services and costs for better decision-making while encouraging upselling through a broader range of service offerings.

You can also send these options to your customers via the digital portal. They can review and accept their choice with just one click. Once approved, you will have full control over managing the shipment seamlessly. In addition to the portal, you can also share all quote options via email, allowing customers to review the details and confirm effortlessly.

Container Tracking – SOC

To stop follow-ups on empty returns for containers SOC, you can now mark a container as SOC in the shipment packages screen. This indicates that your responsibility ends upon delivery.

Enhanced Features

User Experience Improvements

A Seamless Journey

• Filter Automatic Updated Logs from events: You can now exclude automatic logs from the all events screen. This lets you see only key events, like operational and routing events in the shipment.

Quotes Improvements

• Mandatory cost for Expense charges: When an expense charge includes a sales amount, the cost amount and vendor fields can now be made mandatory to ensure accurate cost allocation. You can enable this feature in Quote Settings.
• Get Opportunities notes into Quote: You can now add longer text in both opportunity and quote notes and easily transfer the opportunity notes to the quote by setting up a simple automation using the Automation Tool.

Cost Freight Tariff Improvements

• Upload Prices to FTL Tariff: A new FTL tariff mode will be launched a week after the release, allowing charge types to be defined per line instead of as columns. This improves price uploads via Excel, making it easier to add multiple charges while reducing manual entry errors.
• Manage Validity and Free Days in Tariff Lines: You can now manage the start and expiration dates, as well as the free days, for each tariff line in the freight tariffs. This allows you to efficiently control the validity periods and available free days for each line, and include the free days in your quote when generating prices from the relevant tariff. However, please note that these fields are displayed on your end. If they are not visible, please contact us at support@logitudeworld.com to have them enabled for you.
• Automatic Contract Linking to Quote: When prices are defined based on a contract between you and the carrier, the relevant contract is now automatically copied into the quote after retrieving the prices from the tariff.

Shipments

Accurate and Effortless Freight Shipping

• Organize Shipments by Receivables and Payables – Paid Status: You can now track your shipments’ status based on receivables and payables. The receivables/payables status columns and filters allow you to easily identify whether your shipments are paid, partially paid, or still awaiting payment.
• Copy Package Details When Building Packages from Houses: You can now copy all package references, notes, and custom fields from the house packages into the master package when building packages from master to house.

Documents Improvements

• Manage Document Access Permissions for User Roles: You can now control the permissions for viewing, uploading, sending, or printing any document type, and assign these permissions to specific user roles. Only administrators within your company have the ability to grant these permissions. This feature will be available one week after the release.
• Set Document Visibility per Shipment Type: It is now possible to manage the visibility of document types in the Docs Out/Docs in sections of shipments and quotes based on shipment type. For example, you can easily decide whether a document should be shown for an FCL shipment but not for an LCL shipment. This feature is available for First Class Licence.

Dashboards – Logitude Native

Real-Time Insights to Boost Efficiency

Our latest Dashboard update makes managing and analyzing your data easier than ever. We’ve added new features that improve flexibility and deliver deeper insights. Here’s what’s new:

• Dashboards List: A new view that displays a list of all dashboards, providing key details such as Created By and Last Updated By. Users can now easily view, filter, and manage their dashboards in one place based on their preferences. This will be available for the first class license.
• Dashboard Global Filters: Increased Filter Capacity & Expand/Collapse Option: Users can now add up to 10 Global Filters and 10 Hidden Filters, providing more flexibility in refining dashboard data. A new Expand/Collapse option for Hidden Filters in edit mode enhances filter management and organization.

Operational Accounting

Organizing Your Accounting Data

Logitude Operational Accounting offers an exceptional solution tailored for freight forwarders to streamline and optimize your accounting processes.

• A/R Advanced Payment Management: You can now more effectively manage customers’ advance payments for a specific shipment by recording the payment as advances when you record in Logitude and linking them directly to the corresponding shipment. Once an invoice is issued, it can be linked to the related advance payment upon approval. The Invoice status is updated automatically as paid/partially paid, and the Invoice print can be adapted to show the difference. • Manage Customer Refunds: We now offer a refund option for AR Payments. This makes it easier to return funds to customers when their payment exceeds invoice amount or is made by mistake. You can quickly return the money by issuing a new linked AP payment to refund the open amounts, effectively closing the AR payment. This update will replace the offsetting option you used today. It is also fully supported by the Logitude Generic Interface.
• Increased Character Limit for Printing Notes in A/R Invoices: We have increased the character limit for the Printing Note field in A/R invoices to 700 characters. This enhancement allows for more detailed notes to be included on A/R invoices.

Accounting Systems Integration

Seamless Integration

• Enhanced Custom fields and Class Tracking in QuickBooks Integration: We have expanded the integration for QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced users by enabling the mapping of Shipment’s Project Number to QuickBooks custom fields for both A/R and A/P invoices. Additionally, Class Tracking now supports Shipment’s Project Number, allowing for more accurate financial classification.
