New Features

(New) Integration with Odoo Accounting System

Sync Your Bills and Payments with Odoo

We’re excited to announce that our system now connects with Odoo, a popular accounting software. This means your invoices and payments for both AR and AP can be automatically created and kept up-to-date in Odoo, saving you a lot of time.

No more manual entry! Information will flow smoothly between Logitude and Odoo, eliminating the need to type things in twice. (New) Digital Portal for Agents

A Powerful Tool for Your Business

We’ve made the digital portal platform much better! Now, in addition to the customer portal, there’s also an agent portal. This means your agents can easily keep track of their master shipments and see all the shared quotes. The new agent portal has a lot of advanced features your agents will like:

• Masters View: A customizable list of all relevant master shipments for each agent, displaying essential information and allowing control over the columns shown in the list/generated report.
• Master’s Relevant Houses and Documents: Agents can access all necessary documents for each master shipment and house, along with status updates and timelines.
• Quote View: Agents can view all quotations shared with them, and they can accept or reject offers directly. This feature is available for First Class Customers.

This new feature makes the system better. It helps agents manage their operations easily.

Container Tracking by Booking Number

Your Shipment’s Best Friend

Logitude’s Container Tracking Module connects you with ocean carriers, allowing you to track your containers and receive accurate automated updates easily. We’ve developed a new feature enabling you to track shipments by booking number, even before a Bill of Lading is issued. This provides real-time updates on container status, increasing visibility from the booking stage.

(New) Container Tracking from the Booking Stage

We are excited to announce that Logitude now supports tracking containers right from the Booking stage. This update allows you to monitor your container’s journey from the moment it is booked, offering complete visibility throughout the shipping process.

Additionally, we manage the empty container pickup for both the shipment and the container, providing you with a complete view of your container’s journey. This allows you to track the entire process, from when the container is empty, through its filling at the port, and all subsequent steps.

BI Reports

Transforming Data into Action

The new improvements to the BI Reports Module will enhance your reporting, decision-making, and business analysis by providing easier access to valuable data from the Logitude Data Warehouse (DW).

• Send BI Reports via Email: You can now share reports directly via email from Logitude, simplifying the process and eliminating the need to download reports first.
• Adding Company Logo and Report Details to Excel Downloads: With the advanced Download to Excel option, you can now add your company logo, report name, and date to Excel reports.
• CO2 Reporting for Sustainability: Sustainability in shipping is crucial for reducing the environmental impact of global trade, and it’s becoming more essential in the freight forwarding industry. You can support shippers in managing their sustainability efforts by offering detailed reports that calculate CO2e. Logitude standard reports provide the necessary data to calculate CO2e emissions for Air, Ocean, Road, and multimodal shipments, ensuring compliance with key standards and frameworks. These reports can be uploaded to various platforms such as GRYN, Lune, and EcotransIT.
• Opportunity Fact for FC Package: The Opportunity Fact, providing detailed reporting to track your sales pipeline, Win/Loss analysis, and evaluate sales performance, is now available for all First-Class users.

All BI-related features will be implemented within a week after the release.

• Shipment Distribution Map in Customer Portal: Provide your customers with a visual overview of their shipment distribution on a map, offering clear insights into shipment concentrations across different areas.

Automation Module

Reducing Your Manual Workload

Send emails and do tasks automatically for many entities, making your work easier and faster.

• Opportunity Automation: To provide you more control over e-mail automation, in addition to the existing e-mail settings for Opportunities, the Opportunity entity is now supported in automation. This allows you to receive emails when an opportunity is won or lost, automatically update fields based on certain conditions, and access more automations to help you.
• Tariff Automation: The tariff feature is now automated, enabling you to set up email alerts to notify your team whenever tariff rates are updated or when a tariff is nearing expiration.
• New Fields for Shipment Automation: New fields have been added to the shipment automation conditions, including:
  • ISF #
  • ISF Date
  • ENS #
  • ENS Date
• Automation Library: The Automation Library makes it easy to add automation to your environment. You can view, add, edit, and reuse ready-made automation templates. To find them, go to Automations and then click Add from Template. This feature will be available to all Business users two weeks after this release.

Shipments

Accurate and Effortless Freight Shipping

• Organize Shipments by Receivables and Payables – Paid Status: We’ve made it easier to keep track of your shipments based on your receivables and payables (paid situation). We added new columns and filters so you can see which shipments have been paid, partially paid, or still need to be paid. To activate this feature, please contact us at support@logitudeworld.com.
• Generate Receivables from Payables: Generating receivables from payables has improved to help you manage open and accounted-payable amounts. This feature is available even if there are existing receivables.
• Create Master Shipment in Master View: Now you create master shipments directly within all master views, allowing you to view, edit, and create masters all from one location.
• Transshipment Details in Shipment Views: All transshipment fields have been added as columns and filters to provide detailed information on transshipments, allowing you to better track and manage key stages of the shipping process. You can also now view the last main carriage vessel and filter shipments based on that information.
• Update Multi Shipments with Move Type: The multi-update feature now allows you to change the move type for several shipments at the same time, making it possible to update a group of shipments with a single click.

Quotes and Tariffs

Streamlined Pricing and Quoting

• Cost Tariffs from Agents: Define and record tariffs where the owner is your air agent, FCL, LCL, and FTL shipments, enabling you to use these offers when preparing quotations.
• Support Search in Tariff Workspace: You can now search for tariffs directly from the tariff workspace, allowing easy access without navigating through all views, with tariff numbers and seller codes included in the search.
• Tariff Docs In/Docs Out tabs: We’ve added two new features to the tariff module: the “Docs In” tab, where you can upload price files related to your tariff, and the “Docs Out” tab, which allows you to quickly send emails to partners associated with the tariff.
• Inactivate Tariff Versions: You can now hide approved versions. This means you can take a version of your list and copy its information into a new version. This lets you change prices based on what the seller says while keeping the same information, like when the sale starts and ends.
• Tariff Notes in Quote Charges: View the notes associated with tariff lines in the relevant quote charge generated during a price check. This helps you see any exceptions or notes you managed or received for each price when defining the tariff.
• Copy the Carrier from the Tariff in Quotes and Shipments: The carrier will now be automatically copied from the tariff when generating prices using the price check, making it easier to fill in this information without manual handling.
• New Columns in Quotes: We’ve added new columns to the views for quick access to relevant information and the ability to filter quotes based on this data:
  • From/To Port Country: To show the countries of origin and destination ports for the shipments associated with these quotes.
  • Countries, cities, zip codes, and states for pickup and delivery.
• Markup Percentage: View and filter quotes by markup percentage to get an overview of your markup across a set of quotes.

Operational Accounting

Organizing Your Accounting Data

Logitude Operational Accounting is an exceptional solution for freight forwarders. We are always improving it based on your needs.

• Statement Report: Inclusion of Waiting for Approval AP Invoices: Include “Waiting for Approval” A/P invoices in the Statement Reports, alongside draft A/R invoices.
• Filter Bank Deposit Report by Bank Account: Use the bank deposit report to check per bank account deposits over a period.
• Multiple A/P Invoices View Shipment Charges: Now you have the option to view charge details per shipment even after A/P invoice approval.
• Bank Transfer Details in A/P Payment: Manage bank account details directly in AP Payment. Simply select the bank account for the payment transfer, and the bank code, account number, and currency will auto-fill. This data is also included in the XML file generated by the Generic/Advanced Interfaces.

Dashboards – Logitude Native

Our newest update has some important updates to the Dashboard. You’ll find it’s more flexible and shows you more information than before. Here’s what’s new:

• Calculated Columns Usage Improvement: Calculated fields are like creating a new column in your data that shows the results of a calculation. You can use them to make custom measurements that are specific to your needs. For example, create fields like Estimated vs. Actual Profit and filter by them to enhance your insights.
• Resizable Columns in Drill-Down Grids: Resize columns in the dashboard drill-down grids for a more tailored view of your data. Adapt the grid to your preferences.
• Improve Your Analytics Decisions on Quotes: Want to make your shipping quotes even better? Try looking at where the shipments are coming from and going to. Group quotes by the country they start in and the country they end up in. This will help you see how well things work in different places. For example, you could check quotes for shipments between China and the United States. This would show you the most important shipping routes, how much people want to ship between these countries, and how to set prices that will help you win more customers.
• Improve Your Shipment Analytics with These New Fields:
  • Master Shipment Number: Create widgets that group shipment data by the master shipment number, allowing you to perform detailed analytics on master shipments.
  • Container Numbers & Types: Add container numbers and types to shipment widgets in your dashboard for quick and easy access to all related data in one place.
  • Warehouse Fields: Access warehouse entry and release dates:
    • Identify how many shipments are expected to enter or be released from the warehouse in a specific period.
    • Track Expected vs. Actual Entries: Compare the expected entry dates of shipments with their actual entry dates.

• Newly Added Airlines: New airlines are available to be added to the general library using: Maintenance>Airlines>Add the new available airlines:
  • Norse Atlantic Airways AS: Now you can register for e-AWB with this airline.
• Newly Added Ports:

  • Aberdeen (ABZ) – United Kingdom
  • Aberdeen (ABD) – United Kingdom
